Thinking Healthy is another important
aspect of maintaining a healthy lifestyle that we should be incorporating into
our daily living. Having a positive attitude is an important factor in the way
we handle day to day challenges especially when we speak to people or have
difficult decisions to make. A positive attitude is great way to reduce stress
and brightens up the day of many people you meet. As well, students who have a
positive attitude make time for themselves and others, show respect to
themselves as well as others and tackle the day with a smile on their face.
Personally, I try to have positive thoughts, greet people with a smile, help
others in any way I can and take some time to do something I enjoy. All this
makes me feel good and gives me a great sense of happiness. Can you make a list
of things you do to think healthy? Can you remember the last time you made
yourself and/or others feel good? What did you do?

I really like how you used the blog to focus on a new unit! Great way to engage the students in the topic.
ReplyDeleteI love how you leave questions for your students to answer! It makes the blog very interactive!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea! I think that it is not enough to teach about heathy eating and exercise, but we also need to incorporate teaching about the heathy mind as well!
ReplyDeleteSuch an engaging topic! It's great how you prompted discussions by ending the post with questions.
ReplyDeleteYou've done a great job covering all aspects of healthy living! A great blog for students and parents to visit together to promote discussions at home.

ReplyDeleteAsking questions ensures that you will get some responses and create discussions with your students outside of the classroom. Good job, Colin! This is great!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great blog Colin! Having a healthy mindset is just as important as eating well and exercising, however it is a topic that often gets overlooked.
